Lucy Dixon

I am a surrealist contemporary artist based in Brighton. Through my paintings I want to capture the essence of a lucid dream in a condensed blurb-like representation. I want my paintings to seem artificial and not real as they have been manipulated by the modern world’s constant consumption of images and content and its almost denial of the tangible world. I attempt this by contrasting conventional painting objects with very high saturations a l most similar to digital to create a pristine surreal universe.
