Anita Todaro

Anita Todaro is a Brighton-born, Hove-based artist with proud Italian roots. Her bold, mixed-media work fuses the energy of street art with abstract expression, creating a style she describes as urban abstract. Drawing inspiration from graffiti, old-school tattoo art, animal prints, and the textures of city life, Anita’s art is a celebration of colour, silhouette, and spontaneity.

Using a lively mix of acrylics, spray paints, oil pastels, texture gels, and resin, she creates one-of-a-kind, signed pieces that radiate playfulness and provoke joy. Her work is characterised by high-contrast colour palettes—fluorescent tones set against bold blacks—and the fusion of stencil work with raw, expressive brushstrokes.
