In 2020 my Grandma died and with the money she left me I decided to get my driving licence and a car. The car was not, sadly, a shiny and new sky-blue Ford pick-up, but this painting is inspired by our adventures together. I used sanding back to get the distance and smoother texture in the backgound and slapped on the paint in layers to bring forward the subjects.
