I paint bold contemporary portraits of some of the most Legendary, Iconic
stars from the music and film industry, using acrylic paint to make my subjects
“pop” on the canvas.
I sometimes use gold or silver leaf, which brings an exciting rich texture
behind my hyper realistic colourful portraits.
As a child of the 1970’s music was, and still is a big passion and influence, so
I love to paint my heroes from that period in particular.
After leaving art school I went on to forge a successful career in the fashion
industry, having a stall in the legendary Kensington Market making clothes for
Rock Stars and celebrities like Freddie Mercury, and immersing myself in the
rock n roll lifestyle, but returned to my first love of painting 20 years ago, and
am now a full time artist with collectors worldwide.
