It’s a drawing of a nice candle that can light your pat at night, the smoke expresses a desire.

Original dip pen and black ink drawing. Antique frame with original painted glass, I restored the frame, painted it black and varnished it matte.

What inspired the artist to create this piece?
Originally drawn for the poetry book ‘Are You Having Fun?’ very much inspired by the authors poem ‘Lantern’ which to me seems to eroticise the gesture of lighting a strangers cigarette.
