I have used layers of acrylic paint to create David Bowie. Instead of doing the iconic lightning symbol in blue and red, I have flipped the colours and done the background in these tones, and chosen gold for the lightning bolt. I wanted the symbol to standout and shimmer from all angles, so used liquid gold to create this effect.
