The Brighton Box

Marion Lynn has been drawing and painting since she was old enough to hold a pencil. She studied art at South Kent College and has an HND in Fine Art from the University of Kent. Keen to encourage other artists she runs a weekly life drawing group. Her work has been exhibited in Ashford, Canterbury and Whitstable, and her paintings and portraits are in several private collections in the UK and abroad.

Her artistic interests are eclectic. She loves experimenting, and although primarily a painter she has turned her hand to sculpture, working in clay and wood, and printing.
She has now taken up her needles to create knitted bottled fish! Each fish is unique and is accompanied by its own individual haiku. Art should be fun, intrigue the eyes and brain, and expand ones appreciation of creativity and the world…’nuff said! ENJOY!
