The Brighton Box

About Us

Nestled in the heart of Brighton’s vibrant Dukes Lane, The Brighton Box is more than just an art gallery—it’s a creative hub dedicated to showcasing the incredible talent of emerging local artists. We provide a platform for artists from Brighton and the surrounding areas, offering an opportunity for non-professional and early-career creatives to step into the art world and share their vision with the public.

At The Brighton Box, we celebrate contemporary expression in all its forms. Our carefully curated selection includes digital art, LGBTQ+ themes, abstract works, pop art, limited edition prints, and more. Every piece in our gallery reflects the bold, diverse, and ever-evolving artistic landscape of Brighton.

Each month, we spotlight individual artists through exclusive solo exhibitions, giving them a chance to take center stage and connect with art lovers, collectors, and fellow creatives. We also encourage artists of any background and experience level to submit their work for consideration through our Work With Us section, ensuring that our gallery remains a space for fresh, dynamic, and boundary-pushing artistry.

Whether you’re an artist looking for a place to shine, a collector seeking your next statement piece, or simply a lover of contemporary art, The Brighton Box welcomes you. Step inside and discover the extraordinary.

We work with our artists to encourage growth and development to allow recognition for their talents. We are developing and becoming recognised as the “friendliest art gallery in Brighton”.

We work closely with other independent small businesses within Brighton. If you are interested in working with us please get in touch!

Making Art Accessible to Everyone

We believe that everyone deserves to experience the joy of art, whether at home or in the workplace. That’s why we are committed to making art affordable and accessible, ensuring that creativity can be enjoyed by all.

Our Commitment to Sustainability

We recognize the importance of protecting the environment and are dedicated to reducing our impact. As part of our commitment, we are actively working towards achieving net-zero carbon emissions, ensuring a more sustainable future for art and our planet.

We also recycle all packing receieved in the Gallery and ask our customers to return unwanted packaging so that this can be used again – further reducing our environmental impact.
